4 Week Yoga & Meditation Series

With a 200% increase in mid-year attrition rates for Philadelphia Area Public Schools, it is clear that teachers need more support from their community than ever. With this in mind, we have designed a 4-week yoga and meditation series specifically for public school teachers.
Each session will include breathing exercises, mindfulness practices, and gentle flow of yin/restorative postures all geared toward alleviating feelings of overwhelm and stress while improving sleep quality, hormonal balance, and an overall sense of ease.
At the end of each 45-minute session, participants are invited to stick around for a fully optional 15-minute group discussion on the theme of the week. These discussions are meant to serve as a brave space to share one’s experience while fostering a sense of communal support and comradery amongst members of the profession.
