Yin & Restorative Yoga - Mondays at 8PM

Set aside time to rest, reset, and reconnect during these chilly months. Wear cozy layers and create a winter sanctuary in your home with blankets, pillows, favorite yoga props, and soft lighting. This practice is perfect for slowing down, nourishing your body, and recharging your mind during the darker, colder days of winter.

Why make yin/restorative yoga part of your winter routine?

Relieve Stress: The colder months can heighten tension and fatigue. Long-held poses and deep breathing help stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system (the “rest and digest” mode), melting away stress and promoting relaxation.

Boost Circulation: Winter’s chill can leave your body feeling stiff. Gentle stretches improve blood flow, increase warmth, and ease tight muscles, keeping you mobile even on frosty days.

Support Immunity: Winter is flu season, and restorative yoga helps by reducing inflammation, balancing stress hormones, and supporting your immune system for better resilience against seasonal illnesses.

Improve Sleep: Darker days and shorter nights can disrupt your sleep cycle. Yin yoga calms the nervous system and helps regulate your circadian rhythm, preparing your body for deeper, more restorative rest.

Emotional Balance: The winter blues are real! Restorative yoga supports serotonin and dopamine levels, helping you stay grounded, present, and connected to inner peace during winter’s ups and downs.

Take this time for yourself and invite warmth, rest, and balance into your winter weeks!
