We Are Stars // Passion Project Announcement
When I was young I knew how to talk to the clouds in the sky and each tiny flower was a universe of wonder when i leaned in close to smell her. The nearby and faraway have ever felt like friends of mine. I feel lucky to still be rich with everyday encounters of the raw and regal. It is through the enchantment of the elements that I relate best to reiki or universal life force energy. It moves in spiraling patterns around and through all things, an interlocking weave, that evaporates space and time. The same way my child self experienced intimacy with the mystery, I believe we all are here to be, supported fully and free.
When I was an adolescent I suffered the sorrow of feeling cut off from the tenderness of self love and acceptance. This feeling of disconnection to myself and others lasted a long time. It got buried deep inside to emerge again like daffodils from the fertile earth in spring. Reiki, to me, feels like the universal heart beat. It helps me remember the grace and magic of being alive.
I am deeply grateful to Cole and her opening the blessing of reiki in my life in 2017. I had recently returned from Bali where I hoped to find reiki healing, and yet in that spiraling weave of energy, I found my reiki teacher in Brooklyn at a yoga studio nearby where I was living. I slowly integrated the symbols and principles of reiki 1, 2 and 3 into my life and completed mastership training with Cole in the fall of 2021.
Now I know that I am the flower opening as I lean in to kiss her as a child and adult dancing with the elements and grace of the universe. I am so grateful for the supportive practice of reiki and the expansion of self love and acceptance I have found by saying yes to the universal heart beat. I look forward to sharing this ancient gift of reiki through with all those interested in reconnecting to essence. I am honored to be offering a Reiki Level 1 class through Glowing Heart Reiki in January 2022.
I trust in the ever present magic of breath, sound, movement, ground, touch, stillness, imagination and scent. And I am delighted to be offering weekly online classes through Glowing Heart that combines yoga, qigong, reiki, and elemental wisdom to assist others in embodying their essential nature.
My passion is to support others in their journey to contact the infinite wonder that resides within and awaken to the magic of what is. We are elemental beings, microcosmic mirrors of the macrocosm. We are stars glimmering as we dance in and out of form.
