About Erica

Erica has been serving clients in the field of Sports Medicine for over 15 years as an Athletic Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Myofascial Release Practitioner, and Associate Professor. Throughout her time in this field, there have been bouts where she felt her energy was depleted, as if she was giving her all to her work, with nothing left for herself. It was during one of these moments that she made an appointment for her first Reiki session. 

Although she did not know it at the time, in hindsight experiencing Reiki was a turning point in her career. About a year after her first session, she became a student at Glowing Heart Reiki School, and is currently in her Mastership. 

Erica credits her practice of daily self-Reiki and meditation with creating space in her life for more of what serves her highest good. Since embarking on her Reiki journey, she has done guided shadow work to shine light on the dark places within herself, in order to now be able to shine her light on the dark places in the world. She has also become a Breathwork and Meditation Practitioner, and incorporates lightwork into her clients' programming for all those who wish to experience it. 

Erica's mission in bringing Reiki to her clients is to empower them in their ability to restore their true self, health, and vitality. She finds beauty and release in relinquishing the role of "healer" in her past roles, to the role of "guide" when she works with Reiki. Erica believes that we all were meant to be connected to our internal intelligence, which would intuitively guide us to heal ourselves by connecting to this universal life force, but somewhere along the way, we got lost, as a species and as a society. By guiding her clients' bodies and souls into harmony with the universe, she gently supports them in healing themselves, and the world around them.
